Hi! I am so glad you’re here!
My name is Grace, the creator behind this blog.
I am a full-time college student in my twenties, navigating the amateur stages of capturing life on a camera. Since getting my first Canon in 2018 to now being a proud mom to my Sony a7 III, this little dream of mine has slowly grown to be one of my greatest passions.
If I am being so honest, I am just a girl hoping to pursue a creative career, maybe with a camera in hand, who could really use a community of people to teach and learn with me ways to get to know her camera and craft better. I am probably not skilled enough to even be running a blog related to photography, but that’s why I am here in the first place. To share, to learn, and to understand the art of capturing anything and everything on a camera alongside people who want to do the same. However, there is more to it than just that…
Growing up, there were times when I practically lived in my journals writing entries or poems about seeing the world, and of course, can’t forget the countless presentations I dedicated hours to making for my parents on why it made sense for me to travel the world for a career. This is just a glimpse into what really sparked the joy I have for discovery, and what better way to explore that than through my love for photography?
Why This Blog Exists
In a world that moves fast, it is easy to miss the little things that matter most. The moments that seem small, the places that don’t make the travel guides, every person who has a story just waiting to be heard—these are the things that fascinate me. I believe there is some form of beauty to be found in the everyday, however, that may look. Through this blog, I hope to create a place where community can flourish through the exploration of the depth and meaning found in the seemingly ordinary.
Again, this platform also serves as a creative hub for other beginner and emerging photographers like me. I am always searching for people I can learn from and with, same skill level or not! I believe the best and most enjoyable way to get better is together!

I am still learning, still growing, and still figuring out where this creative path will take me. But I know that I don’t want to do it alone. I would love for you to be part of this journey—whether that is by engaging with my posts, sharing your own experiences, or simply finding inspiration in the stories told here.
So, whether you are like me, a photographer looking for inspiration or maybe you are just here because something about this space resonated with you, I hope you find a home here.
If you have a story of your own you would like to share, I’d love to hear from you! You can submit your experiences through the “Share a Story” form on the blog, and I might feature it in a future post. Have a theme, place, or anything you think deserves to be captured in mind? Check out the “Suggest a Shot” page, where you can suggest ideas you’d like me to explore and write about.
Lastly, I would love to stay connected with you, so be sure to fill out my Follow Me form! You can also find me on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Those are linked at the top of my site. I will be posting new content, stories, and glimpses into my creative process that you won’t want to miss!
Here’s to slowing down, looking closer, and discovering The Beauty Unseen!
